The post-Cold War international system altered substantially the nature
of the international security challenges, since now they are not limited to
conventional security threats, such as inter-state wars, or counter-insurgencies (COIN),
rather they are also irregular -terrorism- and “softer” kinds of security challenges,
such as the climate crisis, cyber-attacks etc. Therefore, complexity is now the main characteristic
of the current security environment, as the nature of the security threat consists of both hard and
soft power elements.
It has become extremely hard for the states, or other organizations to maintain
a secure environment, since the confrontation of the contemporary security threats
has become more challenging than ever before. The TSPR methodology takes into consideration
all the international security challenges, and therefore it finds the best solution for every
security system. It has the ability to be completely harmonized in every security environment
always providing effective solutions.
